Absolutely gorgeous spa, Ellie I believe her name was, the receptionist, was so so wonderful and attentive. Nothing was ever too much for her. Both pools were clean and tidy, the changing rooms and showers were lovely and the new pool bar was amazing. I can’t remember the name of the man working on the bar but he had a long beard and again he was so attentive and nothing was too much for him. Thank you so much. Thank you so much again to everyone on the team at c-side, especially Ellie and the bar man for making our experience so much better. 💖

Very poor service. I tried to book the spa package as a surprise birthday gift for my friend, who came from abroad to visit me. She was only available on 5th Aug, so I contacted them 2 weeks in advance to arrange. They emailed me with an available time slot on that day and we agreed a package and price. As I didn’t want to send my card details by email, I asked them to call me to take payment. After that, I didn’t hear from them for a week. I tried calling, sending emails, but no one picked up the phone and I received no replies. I even left a message at the hotel reception asking them to get back to me. They eventually replied by email just a day before saying they were now fully booked on 5th Aug. So my plan for my friend’s birthday treatment was totally ruined. So shocked by the poor service and sloppy communication from a supposedly high-end hotel/spa

My daughter and I had a superb facial at the gorgeous C Side Spa at Cowley Manor…both Mary and Rachel were absolutely fantastic, we felt that we had a truly wonderfully relaxing time.

The facilities were ok, but the Hammam was out of service when we were there, also a little disappointed there was no jacuzzi, seems a pretty standard feature at any spa. I would say the value for money for a day pass is not great. Paying for the location not the facilities. Food and drinks were nice.

We really enjoyed our trip to the spa, it’s a beautiful venue that you can truly relax in. We went for the afternoon package and absolutely loved it!

Lovely location, beautiful grounds, the pools are amazing and the outdoor pool is heated. The lunch was delicious and was a perfect size. The treatment (a massage) was okay - not amazing but not awful either.

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE! Only book over the phone. Their online booking system does not work. I booked for the pregnancy spa day a month in advance through their website. The day before I left London I emailed to confirm the booking. They said unfortunately the dates were not available, and they were fully booked. I was devastated. It was the highlight of the trip and I had been really excited about sharing the experience with my partner. They did not apologies until my partner sent an email saying that it was unacceptable that they did not email us earlier. Finding another pregnancy spa day was impossible at such short notice. Why even have an online booking system if it doesn't work?!?!?

A mixed experience on the Spa day. Terrible communications once booked, I couldn't get through to speak to anybody to check on details like the time of the treatment or anything else. The day of the Spa was good overrall but with several negatives, the building is very contemporary and the pool is lovely. The steam room and sauna are great too. But everything was a bit broken, I tried to get a locker with a key that worked but after the 3rd attempt I gave up - the locks were broken. The shower gel holder fell down as soon as I touched it, the water wasn't draining properly in the showers so it was all sloshing around your feet, there weren't enough loungers for everyone and 2 of them were ripped. Lunch was a shambolic affair - asking for information on which meals were gluten free resulted in repeated trips back to the kitchen, the waitress did her best but clearly had not been trained properly. There was only 1 gluten free option in the end. Getting lunch took so long that there was only 45mins of spa time afterwards so the day felt a bit too short. The decor in the main hotel is an interesting contemporary style. The best bit about the day was the massage which was really, really good and the therapist was lovely. Would I go back? Yes if they spent a bit more time maintaining the facilities.

Enjoyed the most wonderful afternoon at C Side Spa. Massage and facial followed by afternoon tea. What a perfect day. The massage was amazing!

Visited for a day spa, which was only possible to book on a weekday, as for hotel guests only at the weekend - this was not mentioned when vouchers were purchased. Treatments and therapists were first class, felt very relaxed and well looked after. Unlike some other places, we had to get dressed and walk up to the hotel for lunch, which broke the spell a little. Especially as you could either choose to be seated in a lounge area where the tables were too low to eat a proper meal off (only really suitable for afternoon tea/finger food), or in the bar area, where the table top was very wobbly at first table. It was OK, but the service and surroundings didn't really live up to the rest of the luxurious spa experience of the actual spa area. The food however was excellent and there was lots of it! Although even though the spa package included lunch, we did have to pay for the drinks (non alcoholic and only 1 each) that we had with our meal. It felt like unnecessary penny pinching, considering the price of the day and drinks have been included at every other spa day I've been to. Overall though it was a lovely day and can't fault the actual spa, or spa staff who were wonderful.
