Three Piece Joinery did a really outstanding job for me restoring a neglected and damaged Victorian staircase and constructing a new under-stair cupboard. It was a tricky job which other firms weren't interested in taking on, but Simon Teague brought a huge amount of patience and imagination to working out elegant, practical solutions, and the quality of his joinery was first rate. The restored stairs are absolutely stable and non-creaking, period decorative details have been faithfully replicated, and the new work joins on seamlessly and beautifully to the original structure. Both Simons were a delight to work with throughout, and their price was more than fair for the extremely high standard of their craftsmanship. The job took some time to schedule and complete but it was entirely worth the wait. I would recommend Three Piece Joinery without hesitation for this sort of work.

We had a quick response to our immediate inquiry for a new staircase and were happy with the estimate. We understood the work could not be done for several months and in the event there was a slight further delay, but in fact this proved beneficial since most of the work was done whilst we were away. It was necessary to make a couple of slight changes to the original plan, which in fact resulted in the final cost being a little under the initial estimate. We are very happy with the outcome. The staircase is exactly what we wanted. Simon and Simon are clearly very good craftsmen, as well as being highly trustworthy and professional.

First class detail carpentry work in building a custom front door. Not inexpensive, but given the specifications, reasonable. Delivered on schedule, and fitted in a day, to a very high standard. The two Simon’s are to be recommended.
